Kinect Adventures is the game which comes bundled with the Kinect Sensor so no, you don’t need to buy it but you might be wondering if it is any good and, guess what? It is…
Kinect Adventures will get you up and moving, get your blood flowing, have you out of breath. Higly active and challenging, you won’t want to use Kinnect Adventures to relax.
Kinect Adventures is a family-friendly adventure game with fun music. IGN says, “This game will be an absolute blast for families.” IGN goes on to say that it is an entertaining game which works well and that does a particularly good job of showing off the Kinect technology but which, especially for adults, could easily become repetitive. Remember, you ARE the controller with the Kinect for Xbox 360 and you ARE going to have a lot of fun with your Kinect video games!

There’s a lot going on in Michael Jackson’s life these days…ah, maybe I should rephrase that. Michael Jackson may be gone but he is far, far from forgotten.
What’s happening?
Last year, there was Michael Jackson’s This Is It. This Is It appeared in movie theatres for a brief two weeks and then made its appearance on blu-ray and DVD. This recording of Jackson preparing for a concert that never was is considered to be extremely well suited to blu-ray.
For some that may be old news.
But hang on, there is more news from the world of Michael Jackson.
There’s the Michael Jackson The Experience Video Game, which will be available for the Nintendo Wii, the Nintendo DS and the Sony PSP and eventually the Xbox 360. It really does look like a blast. The goal? To master Michael’s dance moves…
There’s the new DVD, Michael Jackson’s Vision. Which contains a whopping 42 of Michael Jackson’s music videos. I believe that’s all of them folks. In one package, priced at under $30 from Amazon. That may just be the deal of the century.
Finally, and the news you might be looking for is the announcement that YES, Lisa Marie Presley will appear on the Oprah show to speak about Michael Jackson’s death. Excited I am! I’m looking forward to going to Venice on December 10 (2010) with Johnny Depp! Anyone else want to come along?
Along with Johnny Depp, you’ll find Angelina Jolie, Paul Bettany, Rufus Sewell and Timothy Dalton along for the journey.
Depp plays an American travelling in Italy who is befriended by a beautiful Jolie. Jolie is, however, trying to fool the people who are trying to locate her boyfriend into thinking that Depp is the one they are looking for…
Billed as a thriller, it is also a romantic comedy.
Take two of Hollywood’s top stars throw in a bit of Venice…and it looks like a winner to me.

Lately, I’ve been looking into the new movies that are on their way for home viewing at Christmas this year and I’ve come up with some interesting choices.
First, I discovered a number of new Hallmark movies. Those are movies are being made as we speak and which will air in November and December and become available for purchase shortly thereafter. Read more at my page dedicated to The New Hallmark Christmas Movies For 2010.
Second, I did a bit of research to discover what the new Christmas movies on blu-ray were going to be this year. Despite the wide adoption of blu-ray technology, I was surprised to discover not much more than a handful of Christmas movies being released on blu-ray. In advance of Halloween, I know that a few of you are looking for a good scary movie so I thought I would give you a few to consider. Without knowing exactly who you are or what kind of a scary movie you might like, I am at a bit of a loss so I will offer a broad selection of choices. These recommendations are all based on pages that I have written on Squidoo. By following any of the underlined links, you will be able to read more about each of the movies.
Starting with scary movies for tweens, you might want to consider my list, Not Too Scary Movies For Tweens or Pre-Teens on Halloween on which you will find six movies that are appropriate for tweens.
On that list, you will find one of the best best blu-ray movies of 2009, the 3D stop motion movie, which is suitably eerie, Coraline. Another good candidate which also appears on that list is, Walt Disney’s Watcher in the Woods.
Audrey Hepburn’s Wait Until Dark is an excellent choice for those of us who like psychological thrillers. This is one to watch with the lights out…exactly as they did when this Audrey Hepburn movie first aired in the movie theatres in the 1960s.
Finally, if dare cross over into the horror genre, there are many great werewolf movies and you will want to check out my The Werewolf, A Howling Good Movie Review List where you will find a discussion of the best werewolf movies available. I’m not sure which of these you will want to watch with the lights out…
