Christmas in July? You bet!
Yes, I know it is a bit early for Christmas and personally I prefer not to listen to Christmas music until December. However, I am working hard on my Christmas music lens Jingle Bell Time ~~ Christmas Music Past and Present hoping to have it as good as good can be in plenty of time for the holidays. Today, I added a wonderful play list. If you had all the CDs mentioned on this list, you would be set for your holiday entertaining! A number of those CDs would also make excellent gift ideas for the neighbor, the in-laws, the teacher and so on. Of course, the best time for shopping for Christmas is now when you have less competition!
Happy Holidays — I mean summer holidays, that is!

Good thinking Brenda. Planning ahead is a good thing. That way, by the time Christmas comes around, you should have the lens(es) perfected and plenty of backlinks in place.

In Indiana they used to celebrate Christmas In July, usually on the 25th July, but it’s not 6 months from Christmas Day, that would be 25th June. I wondered why they did that - did some organizer not manage to calculate the date correctly?
In New Zealand they celebrate Mid-Winter Christmas on 25th June. Since Christmas falls in the middle of the summer holidays, everyone wants to do outdoor activities over Christmas, and most of the public holidays are around the summer season.
However, there is a long drag between Easter and the Fall where there are almost no public holidays in New Zealand, and the weather is colder and damp. So, it’s the perfect time to celebrate Christmas and to wrap up warm.
Just thought you might enjoy that tidbit of trivia…

Thank you, I did enjoy the trivia — I guess you probably enjoyed Christmas in June when you lived in New Zealand.
I used to make a Christmas Dinner in July with a BBQ’d turkey and slightly twisted fixings. I haven’t done that for a long, long time (think more than a decade) and should probably do it again. People do enjoy things that are out of the ordinary! Maybe my menu is even lens material!
